Microtubolar electric heating elements - Zoppas

Microtubular electric heating elements

Microtubular heaters comprise resistive wire insulated with compressed magnesium oxide and a stainless steel protective sheath. According to customers’ needs they can be straight or spiral, with or without thermocouples.

Microtubular heating elements are mainly used for heating nozzles on plastic injection presses but can also be employed on packing machines.he power and thermocouple cables are protected by metal braid or fibreglass-silicone sheaths.

 


Band heaters

Bands are heating elements designed for easy fitting and generally made up of a stainless steel or Alusi® metal ring with a nickel-chrome resistive wire with mica or ceramic insulation.

They can also be provided flat (in different shapes) and with different types of wire outlets, protections and terminals.

For our ceramic or mica band heaters (also for the nozzle version) we use only top quality materials to guarantee durability, reliability and safety.

The flat heating elements offer a series of advantages that make them one of the best performing solutions on the market, thanks to an optimal heat exchange and a high thermal uniformity.

Etched foil heating elements

Etched foil heating elements come from printed circuit technology. They comprise a slim metal heating track between two insulating sheets of silicone, polyester, polyimide or mica.
 

Mica heating elements

Our flat heating elements on a mica backing provide intense heat in a small space: the mica insulating sheets are 0.9 mm thick.They can be produced with differentiated power zones to give uniform heat distribution.We supply mica heating elements for scientific laboratory equipment.

Polymide etched foil heating elements

Polyimide etched foil heaters  are  light and extremely flexible,  a perfect application method, ensure a practically infinite life cycle with maximum working temperature of 260°C (175°C with adhesive).
 

Polyester etched foil heating elements

Our flat heating elements on a polyester backing provide intense heat in a small space, also on very large surfaces.They  provide an excellent efficiency and heat distribution.  They can be PVC coated to increase their resistance to knocks and humidity.

Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies intends to adopt an Energy Management System (E.M.S.) in accordance with the standard ISO 50001, applying it to its own industrial processes for the manufacturing of heating elements; the aim is to improve energy performances, thus contributing to reduce the impact on the environment, limiting CO2 emissions according to the Kyoto Protocol and pursuing the energy-efficiency objectives imposed by the European Union.
